Ghadah is the founder of Tampa English Institute and a TESOL Specialist with over 25 years experience.

I am the founder of Tampa English Institute and a TESOL specialist with more than 20 years of experience teaching English to students, professionals, educators, and multilingual learners in academic, workplace, and international settings.

As a Middle Eastern American, I bring a personal understanding of the linguistic, cultural, and educational experiences that shape communication across cultures. I believe that English instruction is about building confidence, expanding access to academic and professional opportunities, and helping people bridge cultural and linguistic differences.

For two years, I served as an English Language Fellow with the U.S. Department of State in Kazakhstan. During this time, I worked with Kazakh-, Uzbek-, Ukrainian-, and Russian-speaking communities in a variety of international settings, including in American Corner located in a local public library. I taught English, supported educators and professionals, developed intercultural communication courses, and created opportunities for cultural exchange that encouraged mutual understanding and respect between the United States and Kazakhstan.

I also collaborated with university professors and international colleagues on presentations, teacher development, and the establishment of the first academic writing center in Kazakhstan. These experiences strengthened my ability to design instruction that responds to learners' cultural identities, professional goals, academic needs, and real-world communication challenges.

At Tampa English Institute, my TESOL expertise, international experience, and Middle Eastern heritage intersect to shape thoughtful, culturally responsive English instruction for students and professionals at all proficiency levels. My goal is to help learners communicate with confidence, achieve their academic and professional goals, and build meaningful connections in their workplaces, communities, and everyday lives.

I have lived in Tampa, Florida, since 1997, where I raised my children. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, traveling, and challenging myself to learn new skills. I am currently learning to play the guitar and the mandolin. I believe that learning is a lifelong journey, and I encourage my students to continue growing every day.
