Enrollment Procedures

To enroll at Tampa English Institute, students must complete the following steps:

  1. Meet the age requirement. Students must be at least 16 years old. Students under 18 may need additional forms or permission from a parent or legal guardian.

  2. Confirm eligibility to study. Eligibility depends on the student’s immigration status. Students should seek advice from a qualified immigration professional if they have questions about their eligibility.

  3. Complete the placement process. Students take a brief assessment and participate in a short speaking interview so the school can place them in the appropriate class. Students who need disability-related accommodations or language assistance can contact the director.

  4. Provide identification. Students must present a valid government-issued photo ID or another identification document accepted by the school.

  5. Review enrollment materials. Students must read and sign the enrollment agreement, school policies, permission forms, and Student Handbook. The school will provide assistance and explanations when needed.

  6. Arrange tuition payment. Students must pay tuition before classes begin or receive approval for a payment plan. The school will provide information about accepted payment methods, payment-plan requirements, scholarships, refunds, and cancellation policies.

  7. Receive enrollment confirmation. After all requirements are completed, the school will confirm the student’s start date, class level, schedule, classroom location, and any additional orientation requirements.
